He Piko He Taniwha Collection

This new design weaves together traditional concepts with
modern artistry, creating a flowing visual narrative inspired by the
whakatauaakii 

“he piko he taniwha, he piko he taniwha.”  “At each bend of
the river there resides a chief.” 

The form traces the strong lines of niho
taniwha, echoing the bends of our tupuna awa, where at dwells a chief. The
result is kaakahu that feels both timeless and current, allowing the wearer a
sense of protection and continuity, as each bend reminds the wearer of this
renowned Waikato whakatauaakii and the presence and power that comes with it.
